About Product Manager for Aggregates

Stock control,
start to finish.

Product Manager for Aggregates keeps live stock for wharves, quarries, and depots. Every tonne is logged as it comes in, goes through the wash plant, sits on a pile and leaves by barge, road or rail, so the figures on screen match the yard.

  • Intake

Log dredger cargoes, lorry deliveries, train arrivals and material dug on site.

  • Processing

Record wash plant runs: feed in, output by product onto each stockpile, and waste.

  • Dispatch

Barge loads, lorry tickets (one by one or as daily totals) and train dispatch.

  • Live stock

Stock by product and by pile at every site, on a phone or in the office.

  • Surveys

Square book stock up against drone or GPS surveys, with every change on record.

  • Transfers between sites

Send stock from one site to another by barge, road or rail. It shows as in transit until the other end confirms it has landed.

  • Aggregates Levy

Period totals for tonnes leaving site, ready for your return.

  • Imports and exports

Bring in weighbridge and wash plant files, and export any history to CSV.

  • Audit trail

Who changed what, and when, for every entry and setting.

See stock as it moves

If your site logs lorry tickets as they're issued, your stock figures update with every load, so they stay current all day.

If you upload once a day, often from a spreadsheet, you can keep doing that. When something big happens, like a 1,500 t barge loaded out, you can log it there and then.

Managers, owners and head office see it straight away, without waiting for the end-of-day figures.

Who can do what

Five roles, clear limits.

Everyone gets their own login, and nobody can do more than their role allows. A person's role applies at their home sites and anywhere they've been given edit rights. Everywhere else they can only view.

  1. Owner

    Can do everything.

    • Every site, every setting
    • Add people and set their roles
    • Plans and sites
    • Choose who sees the Aggregates Levy figures
  2. Manager

    Runs their sites.

    • Products, piles, site settings and receive codes
    • Add or remove stock, and add or remove custom mixes
    • Send and cancel transfers to your other sites, other companies' depots and customers
    • Confirm incoming transfers have landed
    • Void entries, delete or clear history, and see the audit log
  3. Supervisor

Runs the yard day to day.

    • Add or remove stock (surveys and corrections)
    • Add or remove custom mixes
    • Confirm incoming transfers have landed
    • Log entries, import weighbridge files and export to CSV
  4. Office staff

Keeps the records up to date.

    • Log intake, wash plant runs and dispatch
    • Import weighbridge files and export to CSV
    • Can't adjust stock, or send or confirm transfers
  5. Staff

    View only.

    • See stock levels and history
    • Export to CSV
    • Can't change anything

Editing stock is for supervisors and above. Office staff log day-to-day entries but can't adjust stock or handle transfers. Seeing the Aggregates Levy figures is a separate switch for each person, which an owner turns on or off on the Team page.
